Understanding Zoom Integration

Zoom integration with Opencals allows you to effortlessly schedule online meetings for your services. By connecting your Zoom account to Opencals, each service appointment can automatically generate a Zoom meeting link, streamlining your scheduling process.

Steps to Integrate Zoom with Opencals

Follow these straightforward steps to integrate Zoom with Opencals:

1. Authorize Zoom Integration

   • Navigate to the App Settings in Opencals.
   • In the Integrations section, click on Add Zoom Integration.
   • Follow the prompts to authorize the Opencals app to access your Zoom account.

2. Assign Zoom Integration to a Service

   • Go to the Services section in Opencals.
   • Choose an existing service or create a new one.
   • On the service edit page, navigate to the Integrations section and select Zoom Integration.

3. Automatic Zoom Meeting Creation

   • Once Zoom integration is assigned to a service, creating an appointment will trigger the automatic creation of a Zoom meeting.
   • The Zoom meeting details will be linked to the appointment, visible on the appointment details page.
   • Both you (or your staff member) and the attendees will receive the appointment confirmation link via email.

Uninstalling Zoom Integration

If you need to uninstall Zoom integration, follow these steps:

• Go to the Settings page in Opencals.
• Locate the Zoom integration and delete it.
• Alternatively, you can remove the connection from your Zoom account settings.

Data Storage and Retention

Your privacy and data security are our priorities:

• Zoom Meeting ID: We store the Zoom meeting ID in our database as long as you have an active Opencals account.
• Zoom OAuth Data: OAuth data is retained only while the Zoom integration is installed. Upon deletion, OAuth data is permanently removed.
