Can guides see their own bookings?

Yes. Each guide logs into the staff dashboard or syncs their personal Google Calendar to Opencals. Their bookings appear automatically, so no surprises.

How do seasonal tours work?

Use Non-recurring schedules. Create a schedule for Oct 1–31 for fall foliage tours. Assign it to that service. Customers only see it in October. In November, it's hidden.

What if a guide cancels a tour?

Mark the tour as canceled in the dashboard. Customers who booked get a cancellation notification, and the time slot opens for other bookings.

Can Opencals handle group sizes of 30+ people?

Yes. Set your capacity limit as high as you need. A single slot can accommodate large groups. You can also run multiple slots for the same tour at the same time.

Do customers pick a guide when booking?

Optional. You can assign a specific guide to each tour, or let customers choose from available guides during checkout. Set it per service.

Does this work with Shopify?

Yes. Install Opencals as a Shopify app. Tours appear as products in your Shopify store. Bookings sync to Shopify orders. You manage scheduling in Opencals, not Shopify.
