Native Shopify App

Opencals installs directly into your Shopify admin as an embedded app. Your team manages bookings from inside Shopify — same sidebar, same interface, no extra logins.

Find Opencals in the Shopify App Store, install it, and configure your services inside the embedded dashboard. Then add the booking widget to your storefront using the Shopify theme editor.

Bookings Become Shopify Orders

Every booking through the widget creates a Shopify order. Service bookings and product sales show up together in your Orders dashboard.

Payment runs through Shopify Payments — no separate Stripe account needed. Revenue reporting stays unified.

If you run both the Opencals storefront ({storename}.opencals.com) and a Shopify store, orders sync bidirectionally.

Product Sync

Shopify owns the service listing — title, description, price. Opencals owns the booking logic — staff, locations, schedules. Update a service name or price in Shopify and it reflects in Opencals automatically. Add a staff member or change availability in Opencals and the widget updates immediately.

Customer Sync

Booking an appointment creates or updates the customer record in Shopify. Booking history sits alongside purchase history in their profile.

Customers access upcoming and past appointments through the Shopify customer account extension — no separate login.

Booking Widget on Your Storefront

The Opencals booking widget sits natively on any Shopify page — product pages, a dedicated booking page, or a floating button. It inherits your theme colors and fonts.

You can configure service filtering (show all or filter by category), staff selection (let customers choose their preferred provider), and location display (show available locations per service).

Multi-Store Shopify Support
